The Collections

Four houses of make, one standard of craft.

Every collection is made to order in the Obuasi atelier. Begin with the occasion you are preparing for.

The Magmens Craftsmanship

Six things we refuse to rush.

  • 01

    Sculpted corsetry

Structured bodices built to support, shape and hold their line from the first fitting to the last dance.

  • 02

    Intricate beadwork

Beading, pearls, crystals and embroidery applied by hand, motif by motif, until the light falls the way it should.

  • 03

    Dramatic silhouettes

Figure-enhancing volume and line — trains, peplums, mermaid skirts — engineered rather than merely cut.

  • 04

    Exceptional finishing

The parts nobody sees at a distance: internal structure, bound seams, weighted hems and a clean hand.

  • 05

    Bespoke by design

No house pattern. Every garment is developed around one client's preferences, proportions and occasion.

  • 06

    Contemporary couture, African elegance

International couture construction paired with Kente, heritage cloth and Ghanaian cultural expression.

The Bespoke Experience

From the first conversation to the final reveal.

Every Magmens Couture piece is made for one client. The process is deliberate, documented and personal — you will know exactly where your garment stands at every stage.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We discuss your occasion, preferred style, inspiration, budget and design expectations — in person at the Obuasi atelier, or virtually if you are abroad.

  2. 02

    Design & Approval

A design concept is developed for you and the details are confirmed with you before any production begins.

  3. 03

    Craftsmanship & Fittings

Your garment is created by hand and refined across scheduled fittings until the fit, the line and the finish are right.

  4. 04

    Final Reveal

Final checks are completed and the finished outfit is prepared for collection at the atelier or delivery to you.
